A very familiar face to us all, John Cleese of Monty Python, briefly explores laughter yoga in this entertaining video. It’s hard not to laugh simply at the sight of practitioners making Cleese double over in laughter!
I’ll discuss laughter yoga at another time, but for now, enjoy this introduction. And don’t miss the hidden gem of inspiration Cleese muses at the end, “I’m struck by how laughter connects you with people. It’s almost impossible to maintain any kind of distance or any sense of social hierarchy when you’re just howling with laughter. Laughter is a force for democracy.”

What about introducing a new yoga pose: Pranayama Laughing
Laughing is fantastic, when I feel down I stand in front of a mirror look at me and start laughing. That makes me feel better everytime.

I am so wanting to try this laughing yoga. It would be just the thing for me!
And the quote about how laughter connects people, is true.
Sometimes it’s the quickest way to get strangers to smile at each other!

I look forward to sharing more about laughter yoga here at TrainYoga. It isn’t a practice I’ve had the pleasure of engaging in very much, but even for those of us with the most limited experience you learn how laughter blends with yoga more seamlessly than anybody can anticipate…or control!
